A Saratoga County supervisor has accepted a plea deal following a drunk driving arrest at Saratoga Spa State Park. Sarah Burger pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of driving while ability impaired. Her license has been suspended, and she must pay a fine and attend a victim impact panel.
A massive historical collection assembled by the late Warren County Judge John Austin is now open to the public in Lake George. The archive includes books and documents dating back to the 1600s, covering local history and genealogy. Officials say the collection is available by appointment at the county clerkâs office.
A firefighter and a tractor-trailer driver were injured after a fire broke out Wednesday in Glens Falls. Crews responded quickly and brought the flames under control in about 30 minutes. The driver was taken to the hospital, while the firefighter suffered a broken finger, and the cause remains under investigation.
