    The horse racing community gathered over the weekend in Saratoga Springs to remember 17 horses killed in a June 16 barn fire at the Saratoga Harness Track. A memorial service was held Sunday, with special blankets presented to the horses’ owners. Lawmakers are also proposing stronger fire safety requirements for barns and stables.
